Steel Shell Induction Furnace
Steel shell furnaces are ideal for large foundries, automated fundry settings, and precision casting operations. They are especially safe and efficient for capacities exceeding 2 tons per hour, aided by a hydraulic station to control both pouring angle and speed.
Standard Features
- Open furnace structure: The basic structure integrates a unique shock absorber and a solid magnetic yoke with a dual cylinder setup using heavy wall seamless rectangular steel tubes. This design ensures enhanced safety, durability, and efficiency. The upper end can be disassembled for easy coil replacement.
- Hydraulic tilting: The furnace can rotate 95 degrees around the pouring spout and tilt at adjustable speeds. It uses a manual valve operation and features a double machine double pump system with remote manual control, enhancing operational flexibility.
- Magnetic yoke: The sensor is covered over 65% by the magnetic yoke, minimizing leakage and maximizing electrical efficiency. Compared to aluminum shell furnaces, steel shells save nearly 5% on power consumption.
- Anti-fall protection device: For capacities over 2 tons, an anti-falling hood automatically forms a protective barrier during tilting, preventing personnel accidents.
- Factory test: Rigorous testing ensures each unit meets industry standards.
