Recently, I set up a T-Mobile 5G Home Internet and have found that some of my devices are unable to connect. For instance, my Shark IQ Robot vacuum is one of the devices that cannot connect to 5G, as it indicates it can only connect to 2.4G. Does anyone have suggestions on how I can resolve this issue?

2. Reduce the power of the 5GHz band and temporarily unplug all satellites. Access your router's desktop portal (typically at 192.168.1.1), navigate to the Advanced Settings tab, and then to Advanced Setup followed by Wireless Settings. Adjust the Transmit Power Control from 100% to 25% for the 5GHz band to decrease its signal range, allowing 2.4GHz a greater chance to be the optimal choice for connection. Leave the 5GHz band at 25% power, navigate back to the Wireless Setup, and uncheck the boxes that enable AX features for both bands. Netgear claims their systems are designed for simplicity and ease of setup. However, they seem to overlook that many consumers purchase mesh networks for their expansive coverage and ability to connect multiple smart devices without hassle. This makes it a substantial oversight in design. The expectations among users are that they should not have to spend exorbitantly simply to connect smart appliances that previously functioned seamlessly with less costly equipment.
