Water Fed Pole Method

Recently, the water fed pole method has gained popularity as the preferred way to clean exterior windows, both for homes and businesses. Here are some advantages of this modern technique:

  • Window cleaners can operate safely from the ground

  • Maintains the privacy of the upper floors

  • With extendable poles that can reach over 30 feet, hard-to-reach windows, such as skylights, are easily accessible

  • Brush bristles can clean parts of windows and frames previously untouched

  • Using 'Pure Water' results in a streak-free finish with no residue

Understanding Pure Water

Pure Water is essentially water that has been filtered to remove all minerals, resulting in 100% purified water. Unlike traditional methods, there’s no need for squeegeeing as the pure water dries without leaving streaks. If you’ve experienced less satisfactory results before, it could be due to impure cleaning methods. We guarantee 100% satisfaction, or your money back.

Additionally, I offer cleaning services for conservatories, fascias, soffits, cladding, and solar panels, ensuring a comprehensive exterior clean!

Hello - Introductions - Window Cleaning Resource

Hello,

I’m pleased to introduce myself on this forum. I have been in the window cleaning business for 14 years, starting at the age of 13. Balancing this job through school and eventually full-time after college, I’ve always enjoyed the independence it afforded me. Two years ago, I transitioned into full-time window cleaning, getting married and flipping homes in the meantime to stay busy.

I was encouraged to venture on my own by a family friend who taught me the trade. Starting with a Buick LeSabre and now operating with a full-size pickup, I've come a long way. Despite my growth, I am still expanding and currently work three days a week, mostly relying on word of mouth for business.

My current services include Window Cleaning, Roof Cleaning, House Washing, Gutter Whitening, and Gutter Cleaning. I use a homemade four-stage water filtration system that gets my water down to 000 ppm and have a 50ft Sim pole. Although I initially saw some spotting when using it, I believe it may be due to the slow water production rate, which I am currently addressing.

I am considering upgrading to a more efficient system to maintain a higher water flow rate. If anyone has experience or advice about utilizing the Fatboy Bandit roof cleaning system with a pump controller to adjust flow rates, your insights would be highly appreciated.
