What Constitutes a Full Set of Shoring Props
Propping is a system of structural members temporarily used to support loads during construction. The forces from these loads must be entirely resolved, using props or columns to provide all the necessary support for the work under construction, such as beams, formwork, etc.
A complete set of shoring props includes the Bottom Base, Top Base, Prop Sleeve, Prop Nut, and Prop Pin. Also essential are the Tripod and Forkhead. Various sizes are available for each part. For example, the bottom and top bases come in sizes 120mmx120mm and 150mmx150mm, with thicknesses ranging from 5mm to 8mm. The prop sleeves typically have diameters of 60mm and 76mm and lengths ranging from 195mm to 300mm with thicknesses from 2.0mm to 4.0mm. Prop nuts are available in multiple types based on client requirements. We offer three kinds of prop pins: the G Pin, widely used for heavy-duty props, and the Support Pin with Chain and Pin with Cap. All parts can be customized according to client specifications.
Props are designed in varying lengths to suit different construction demands, available in both Light Duty and Heavy Duty options.
The design of shoring props differs across regions. For instance, Acrow Props are commonly used in European countries. Light-duty props are typically utilized in Asia, the Middle East, and some African countries. Spain, Portugal, and Italy have their own types. However, the design usually depends on the client's needs, allowing them to choose different kinds of props to meet construction requirements.
